Lamb Cottage, M�n�ac (nr Lac au Duc)

Lamb Cottage is situated in quiet rural surroundings.

Lamb Cottage is a traditional French long�re (long house) with open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge on the ground floor. The kitchen comprises full gas cooker, fridge and microwave. There is satellite television and heating is by wood burning fire. There are some antiques in the lounge/dining area including an antique French dining table and a non serviceable Victorian gas fire. The other furniture is Ercol.

There is an open plan double bedroom with double bed, cot and wardrobe space and a twin bedroom with two single beds and ample wardrobe space on the first floor. There is also a bathroom with bath/shower, wash hand basin and toilet. There is no washing machine but a service wash is available on request.

Outside you can relax in the beautiful flowered garden; there is sun loungers and a patio set with BBQ


At Lamb Cottage there is also a first floor apartment to sleep 4/6 people but is only available during the summer.

At Ploermel, about 20 minutes away, is The Lac Au Duc where golf and water sports are available. There are public swimming baths at other local towns. The area is quite flat and is ideal for walking and cycling.

Fishing is available at a private lake near M�n�ac. As this lake is private, no permit is required. Please state when booking that you want to go fishing so I can advise the owner.

Lamb Cottage is situated about an hours drive from the sea, an hour from the airport at Dinard and one hour 20 minutes from St Malo. There are many beautiful things to visit in the surrounding area.

In the area : swimming, golf, walking, cycling, riding , water sports.

Restaurants, food & wine: There are many restaurants in the area serving traditional French cuisine with excellent wine cellars.

This is the ideal environment to have a quiet holiday.

Lamb Cottage boasts many prizes for the hanging baskets and floral displays over the past years so for this reason the owners do not allow ball games in the grounds.  There is a play park with swings and ample space for ball games only 4km away in M�n�ac village.

There are two pet sheep called Cagney and Lacey who occupy the paddock behind the cottage, who with a little encouragement they will take your stale bread from your hand. Your pet is welcome with your strict control. The ownershave a Border Collie called Meg who loves to be fussed and she loves children. There are chickens and Molly the cat. An added attraction to any tropical fish lovers is Godfrey. He is a Giant Gourami of some 60cm, quite a specimen.

Day ticket fishing is available at a private lake in M�n�ac; it is a private lake and no permit is required. Please advise when booking that you would like to go fishing so the owner can expect you. Below is the owner's steam project - yes it does work!

Prices

The prices indicated include bed linen, towels, gas and electricity. If needed firewood is available at a nominal price.
If you wish to book an end of stay clean, 60� is payable locally before departure

Breakfast and evening meal at reasonable extra cost if required, good home cooked fare.
