The Cottage is surrounded by a large lawned garden to one side, front and rear.  This typical Breton building with ground floor low ceilings dates from 1760, has been renovated to the highest modern standard.  Original features retained in several rooms.    Ample parking in front of the house.

Large comfortable oak beamed lounge:  Two sofas and two armchairs.  Oak beamed fire place with gas �wood burner�.  TV for playing DVD�s.  Books, games and selection of DVD�s available.  English Radio 4 on Long wave.

Kitchen/Dining Room:  Table with six chairs.  Electric oven.  Gas hob with four rings.  Fridge.  Freezer.  Microwave.  Washer/dryer.  Ironing board and iron.  Kettle and toaster.  English Radio 4 on long wave.

Bathroom downstairs:  Bath/ shower.  Toilet.  Wash basin.

Upstairs:  Master bedroom with Super King bed.  Twin bedroom.  Double bedroom.  All bedrooms have Edwardian furniture.  Upstairs toilet and wash basin.

The smaller Forge, sleeping 2 adults only

The Forge  A peaceful country property near to The Cottage above and set in open countryside with large lawn beyond the patio area.  Available for a maximum of three adults.  Originally a working farm forge, this property has been renovated to modern standards whilst retaining original beams throughout.  Low ceilings downstairs.  Car parking area to side of property.   Out of season long term lets welcomed.

Downstairs:  Open plan lounge/dining room with corner kitchen.  Gas �wood burner�.  Gas cooker.  Fridge.  Washing machine.  Kettle. Toaster.  English radio 4 on long wave.  TV for playing English DVD�s only.  Bed settee.  Two armchairs.  Table with three chairs.  Selection of books and English DVD�s.  Ironing board and iron.

Upstairs:  Double bedroom with integral bathroom having short bath/shower, toilet and wash basin.  Small sitting area.  Wardrobe and chest of drawers.

 Outside:  Patio furniture and BBQ.  Rotary dryer. Bed linen supplied but bring own towels.  Cot available for hire.

Local shops within 3 kilometres from Bignan and St. Jean Breveley with nearby restaurants.  Local Sculpture Park, chateau and lake within walking distance.  Port of Vannes and the beaches of Morbihan are nearby.  This is a good centre for walking or cycling.  Nearby chateau towns of Pontivy, Josselin and Elven.  The Nantes/Brest Canal and river Blavet are within easy reach.  Visit the seaside chateau of Suscinio, go to the Post Card Museum at Baud or prehistoric site at Carnac.  Local Calvaries.  Rimaison Golf Course at nearby Plumeliau.  Local outdoor swimming pool at Locmine.
