To get to the houses, there is a lane from the main road, approximately one kilometre long which takes you past the entrance to the 15th century exclusive boutique manoir B&B, where you will be made welcome if you drop in for a drink at their bar (no restaurant) which will take you about a two minute walk. The grounds are extensive, and they welcome people to stroll around the woodlands and fields. There is also a fast running stream running through the land, but not close to the houses.

While waiting a few moments for the owner to arrive, I stood in the courtyard and the only sounds I heard were the birdsong and one neigh from the horses and a new foal in the field. Extras to pay locally are bed linen hire (see below) electricity at cost and taxe de sejour at 40c/adult/day.
This is a really beautiful tranquil setting, but yet the beaches and restaurants are within quick and easy reach. We loved the cottage and the owner was lovely. We will certainly come back one day. Thanks again for the very efficient service RL, Cheshire
