Maison Verger

is a traditional Breton 2 storey cottage in tranquil location, ideal for couples and families to relax or explore. Peaceful location, within easy reach of the local village, town, coast and local attractions. sleeps 4-6.

It is easily accessible from the local ports of Roscoff and St Malo. Coastal areas and Rose Granite coast can be reached in approx 40 mins driving, and further afield for places such as Le Mont st Michel. Approx 2.5 km from the village and 10km from the town of Guingamp. You have your own garden for relaxing in after your day exploring with outdoor furniture and barbecue. Parking available for 2 cars at front of property. Bedding, towels and welcome pack are supplied.

There are 2 Bedrooms: one with double bed; the other with 2 twin beds, and if you want to sleep 6, there is a double sofa bed in lounge.

The bathroom is on ground floor with bath (& showerhead), sink & toilet.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with cooker with hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave & washing machine. The lounge dining has the sofa bed 3 seater settee, coffee table, dining table & 6 chairs, TV, Freeview box, DVD/video player and wood burner. Welcome pack, towels and linen supplied. If taking a 2 week break or longer, cleaning and fresh linen can be supplied weekly for an additional cost of 40 euros. The cottage has central heating for those cooler periods, charged at cost via meter. 

Outside you will find that the cottage is situated behind the main farmhouse and at the end of its own driveway, set in a farming hamlet with extensive countryside ideal for walking and exploring. Outside the cottage is an area suitable for the parking of 2 cars. You will have your own garden to relax in with barbecue and furniture for those endless summer days and nights. Ideal for those who like to cycle, walk or drive.

Area

Roscoff: 1 hr (60 Miles approx); St Malo: 1.5 hrs (82 Miles approx); Caen: 2.5-3 hrs (167 Miles approx); Le Havre: 3.5 hrs (227 Miles); Calais; 5.5-6 hrs (382 Miles) 2.5 km to the local village of Bourbriac 10 km to the main town of Guingamp which has a weekly market on Fridays, offering fruit/veg, fresh fish and produce from across Brittany and a public swimming pool. 15km drive to Callac 2 hrs drive approx to Le Mont St Michel 45 mins to 1 hr drive to Rose Granite coast. A natural environment of outstanding beauty offering a walk along the coastline.

Local Amenities There are restaurants in Bourbriac and Callac offering a selection of menus. Bourbriac offers local shopping at the supermarket, butchers, bakers and pharmacy. There are banks for your euros and a doctors/dentist should you require one whilst travelling. Guingamp (photos above) offers shopping on a larger scale with supermarkets (Carrefour, Le Clerc etc), a selection of smaller shops and shopping outlets for clothes, furniture etc. Walk along the canal for a relaxing stroll. Open Market on Fridays. Callac is a smaller village, with supermarkets and weekly markets to choose your goods from.

Bookings taken Sat-Sat in peak season book by the week only. Other dates minimum stay 4 days with flexible start/stay. End of stay cleaning service is available @ 40€ (payable on arrival) Prices inc a complimentary welcome pack along with towels/bedding. Electricity for heating will be charged by meterage used.
