This wonderful stone cottage has original Chestnut beams and sleeps up to 12 people (+ cots if required) in five bedrooms. Superb exclusive-use of the swimming pool which is surrounded by attractive, well-stocked landscaped gardens within 10 acres of woodland and fields, which ensures complete privacy. Ideal for families - loads of space for children to run around and enjoy themselves whilst adults relax by the pool. Centrally based, great for visiting the wide variety of tourist attractions in Brittany and for golfing, fishing, rambling, cycling, beaches and much more! It is at the end of its own 250m driveway making it a very safe environment for children (no passing traffic). Totally private and not overlooked by any neighbouring properties.
The solar-heated salt water pool is fully fenced, with plenty of sun loungers and chairs. The pool is 10m x 5m and varies in depth from Roman steps of 1m to 1.7m at deep end. It is surrounded by palm trees, bamboo, Hydrangea, Buddleia and Hypericum bushes and is a wonderful sun trap.
La Grange Longue (The Long Barn) has 2 (yes 2!) French-style well equipped kitchens (oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee-maker etc) each with dining area. One can seat 10+, the smaller one with it's corner unit can seat 4-6. Ideal for catering for separate tastes (feeding the little ones their favourite fish fingers whilst a more adult meal is being prepared in the other). There are tables and chairs outside for "al fresco" dining, maybe croissants for "le petit dejeuner" or an evening BBQ. Purpose built BBQ overlooking the pool. The choice is yours!
As well as 2 kitchens, there are 2 separate lounges.
A nice large lounge with original large Chestnut beams and a smaller cosier lounge for 4. They each have British satellite TV, so no need to miss your favourite "soap" or documentary. There are lots of books, games and dvd's for guests use, plus free wi-fi on site. The main lounge also has a woodburner, great for a cosy winter's evening relaxing after a day of sight-seeing.
There are 2 double bedrooms, and a family room (with a set of bunks and twin beds) upstairs. Downstairs at the other end of The Long Barn there is a further double room and another room with twin beds which means parties of up to 12 can sleep comfortably. Additional cots are available for babies (bedding not supplied for cots) The upstairs rooms have beautiful Chestnut A frames.

Easy access for those with minor mobility problems but not suitable for wheelchair users. The owners live in separate accommodation within the site so are accessible for information and help. They occasionally use the pool, but not while guests are around! Cycle hire is available locally, and if you give notice, this can be arranged for you.

A solar heated salt water pool (as far as we know the only one in the area) so avoiding the stinging eyes and bleached "cossies" associated with the usual chlorine pools. The pool area has sun-loungers, chairs. It is fully fenced, with coded entry for the safety of our guests. The little ones may enjoy running through the Bamboo tunnel, the trampoline which has a safety net.
