A few minute's drive will have you at the River Blavet with its towpath for walking and cycling. The nearest large village has the usual compliment of shops, restaurants and a large Intermarché supermarket. Friday mornings there is a local food market in the church square car park with crepes, cheese, shell fish and cooked chickens and other foods available. Loads to do for all tastes in this area, or simply chill out and do nothing!
The Port of St Goustan, near Auray is packed with super restaurants
The huge sandy beach at Erdeven
The heavy horse school at Hennebont (10 minutes away) put on regular "shows"
Beautiful Golf Course at Queven is only 20 minutes away.
The medieval village of Poul Fetan is just across the River Blavet but about 20 minutes by car, where there are demonstrations in traditional crafts by people dressed in the clothes of the medieval age.
Then there is the little "city of character" Josselin and its fantastic castle parts open to the public. There are many festivals and fairs held in this medieval city.
