Sleeps 4 This is a very old house which has just been completely renovated and finished to a high standard with a contemporary feel but mainly of the ancient features like beams and exposed stone remaining. It is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Melrand which has all the usual complement of shops and a few restaurants. A short drive to Bubry and Baud and only about 40 minutes from the coast. Set in the quiet hamlet of Le Grand Quello in about 1.5 acres with views over the surrounding landscape.
The large, open plan lounge, dining, kitchen is thoughtfully furnished with contemporary, comfortable furniture. The kitchen has electric oven with four ring plates, kettle, toaster, microwave, extractor hood and is fully equipped. The dining table seats 4-6 comfortably and the large comfy settees will seat the same. There is a TV with free to air reception.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms again with modern comfortable beds and wardrobes. There is also a bed settee on the landing which folds out to a double bed, so you could have guests stay for a few days. The family shower room has a large massage shower, toilet and basin. Photo taken via the mirror! Outside you will find a shaded picnic table and four sun loungers. Table tennis table and basket ball hoop available for your amusement. The grounds surrounding the property are private, and include an orchard, meadow and gardens (with swing set for the kids). The owners live next door, but you have complete privacy as there is a privacy fence between their home and the cottage. Prices per week
