Ty Ty Al Louarn - Newly renovated cottage nr Landaul
Sleeps 6
This beautifully renovated house is called House of the Fox, but in Breton "Ty Al Louarn". It has been renovated with great care and skill by the owners, and no expense has been spared to make it a comfortable and welcoming holiday cottage. The original stone work is evident, and been enhanced by the renovation. It is situated in a quiet corner, nestled in farmlands, in the same grounds as the lovely French owners' home. They do speak a bit of English, so communication shouldn't be a problem.
The downstairs is open plan with fully equipped full kitchen including large fridge freezer, electric oven, microwave, four ring gas hob, dishwasher ( washing machine & dryer available on request ), kettle, toaster and coffee maker. The lounge has a music player/radio and there is a TV and DVD player.
Up the fab stone spiral staircase and you will find two large bedrooms. To your left, there is the master king sized bed, which unzips to create two large twins, if needed, and to your right you will find the multi-bedroom with angled bunk beds and a single bed which pulls out to form either two singles or one large double. Bed linen is supplied but you will need your own towels.
Both bedrooms have little work stations in them with lamps and there is plenty of natural light for reading and handicrafts. Wardrobes, bedside cabinets and lamps also in both.
There is a bathroom which has a vanity sink, bath and shower over, separate shower room with cubicle and sink, and separate toilet with sink.
Outside there is a patio area with BBQ and garden furniture and large gardens to romp in, along side the little wooded area to the side. So plenty of room for picnics, eating en plein air and enjoying the peace and quiet. Also added for this year is a table tennis table, foosball table and a slide/swing set including swing for a baby. Cot, highchair, stair gate and baby bath available, free of charge on request. Linen included, towels are not but can be hired. AREA Only 15 minutes to the coast, 20 minutes to Carnac and Erdeven beaches, 2 minutes (1.6 kms) from Landaul, which is the nearest village and has boulangerie, epicierie, pizzeria take-away, post office, bar, tabac etc. Ten minutes in the car has you at Auray, and there is a vast selection of supermarkets and all types of shops on the outskirts, in the out of town shopping area and Auray town which is a large town with a huge assortment of shops and activities to choose from.
