This lovely country house sits in parkland with its own fishing lake

This is an ideal house to spend your holiday in if you are looking for peace and quiet.  However, the lake is open and it is being brought to your attention that it may not be suitable for very young mobile children.  Safety is the parent's responsibility.

Downstairs there is a family bathroom with bath and shower over, toilet and sink.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and kitchen table; off that is the utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and freezer.

The open plan lounge dining room is L shaped and has satellite TV, and comfy settees, and for those cooler off peak evenings there is a log burning fire.  The dining room has a beautiful hard wood table and chairs and seats eight.

There are five bedrooms available: all upstairs there are two double rooms, twos single room, and one twin room.  There is a further family shower room upstairs with sink and separate toilet.

Outside the house is surrounded by lawned areas with some trees to give you a little shade from the sun and a short walk to the bottom of the garden has you at the lake which is just a little smaller than a football pitch.  Fishing is free in the spring fed lake because it is private and there are perch, tench and other types of fish available.  It is hoped to provide a little fishing dingy if one can be found. One well behaved pet welcome.

St Yves village is a short walk away, there is a couple of bars and one has a little supermarket with a depot de pain, which means you don't have too far to go to get your daily fresh bread fix.  Bubry is about five minutes drive away and has an Intermarch� supermarket and the usual shops of a larger village and a couple of nice restaurants. 

You are close to the River Blavet which has a towpath for both walking and cycling.  Also not far away is Poul Fetan which is a village reproducing life in centuries past, with artisans who make bread, pottery and other necessities for life in this period.  Nearby there is Horse Riding, cycling along the River Blavet towpath, although the lake at the property is well stocked there are several further lakes and river fishing in the area. Lovely beaches are approximately 40 minutes away, Carnac, Quiberon, Larmor Plage. There are a choice of lovely golf courses a short drive away
