Alwena Cottage Sleeping 4 10 minutes from Languidic �on the Rennes/Lorient N24: Kerfrec welcomes its visitors in a peaceful woody domain. 6 years ago Alwena cottage was beautifully restored, using organic materials but modern design with all home comforts. It is a traditional thatched roof, stone walls and oak beams. The fully equipped corner kitchen has vitroceramic hotplates, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine - so you do not to bother with domestic tasks during your holiday � and a very comfortable lounge area with a settee, wood burner, TV - on which to play DVDs - and a CD player. Everything for babies is available in the cottage free of charge: baby chair, stair safety gate, cot, and changing mat.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms � the first with a double bed, the attached the twin room with two single beds - waiting for you to rest, while a cosy modern bathroom reserves you a foaming bath to relax after a good walking day. Bed linen is supplied but you will need your own towels. All the rooms have high ceilings and are light and airy.
The peaceful surroundings and atmosphere of the cottage invite you to rest, read a book � you will find a collection of magazines and novels, according to your mood or desire � and breathe! You will find a good variety of board games in the lounge, and some information about walks and things and places to visit in the area � generally commented on and tested by our previous guests. For the more athletic of you, ping-pong & badminton sets are waiting for you. Just ask the owners. Otherwise, this southern part of Brittany is ideal for lovers of outdoor sports. Being close to the sea - 20mn from the cottage, means that you can access all manner of water sports, and the towns also have facilities for tennis, swimming � One piece of advice if you have time and wish to: is to discover the Blavet River and its country by canoe or kayak. It�s quite near Alwena Cottage, and you will cross it when coming here. This is a famous place for those sports, and official competitions usually occur there. You can go to Lochrist, where clubs welcome individuals or groups and offer canoeing for beginners, short trips, day trips and expeditions. All equipment is available there (boat, paddle, life-jacket, helmet...); the minimum age required is usually 5 years of age. Cycling along the river Blavet is very pleasant as well. So why not enjoying a ride along the Valley and the Blavet River with its magnificent views? There are no cars and no noise except the bird song.
