Sleeps 4-5 heated pool One of two traditional stone cottages are in Southern Brittany which have each been recently renovated to a high standard, Papillon is the one to the right. They are situated in pretty countryside within walking distance of the village of Hell�an, which has an epicerie for bread and essential groceries and two bars. The nearest towns of Plo�rmel and Josselin are both ten minutes drive away, and each have large supermarkets.

Papillon cottage is situated in a quiet rural hamlet in southern Brittany. The beautiful beaches on the southern coast of Brittany are only 45 minutes drive away. You can visit the historic towns of Josselin, Pontivy, Vannes and Auray. The area is ideal for cycling, horse-riding, water-sports and golf all available nearby. Alternatively, if you just want to relax and enjoy the quiet life this is the ideal place to unwind. Josselin The beautiful town of Josselin is only a ten minute drive from the Breton Knights cottages. Josselin boasts a fine chateau overlooking the Nantes - Brest canal. You can also visit the historic basilica of Notre-dame-du-Roncier or sample the bustling Saturday morning street market. The Lac du Duc The Lac au
Duc near Ploermel, a large lake just 5 minutes drive from the cottages,
offers fishing, various water sports and golf (pictured left). You can also hire
a pedalo and swim at the man made beach in the height of summer (pictured far
left). The Hortensia Trail offers a unique opportunity to view over fifty
varieties of hydrangea as part of an idyllic walk alongside the lake. Broceliande and the Nantes - Brest Canal Towards Camp�n�ac you enter the mysterious Forest of Broc�liande, where the moor-land is illuminated by the sunny colour of gorse and broom. Megalithic monuments can be found, a sign of the ancestors who lived in this magnificent place. Visit the splendid Ch�teau of Tr�cesson (pictured right) and there are plenty of footpaths and trails if you wish to explore Broc�liande. The famous Nantes to Brest Canal, once an important trading
waterway, now offers a picturesque setting for visitors. You can opt for a walk
along the towpaths, a cycle ride or a quiet boating trip. Auray and Vannes With its bustling harbour, fabulous restaurants and art galleries, Auray is well worth a visit. Vannes (pictured above), with its ramparts, beautiful formal gardens, aquarium and fine restaurants, shouldn't be missed. The Gulf du Morbihan and Brittany's Beaches The beaches in the Gulf du Morbihan, along the southern coast of Brittany, are famous for their golden sand and clean waters.
