Chanticoq - Large Country House
Sleeping 8 This house has six bedrooms but comfortably seats 8 dining therefore offered only for eight people unless there are smaller children which would eat before the adults. In which case the house will sleep up to 12 (small supplement charged per person over 8). There is a lovely terrace, overlooking the hamlet and to the back of the house there is a huge garden, with swing set and a small apple orchard to the side. So plenty of room to run and play for the children, in the enclosed space.
The lounge and dining room are open plan and offer a music centre, TV, with DVD and video players. French windows open on to the terrace area. The kitchen has a gas oven and four ring hob, microwave, fridge freezer and has views over the back garden. There is one double room and one twin room on the ground floor (pictures 1,2). On the first floor are two double bedrooms (pictures 3,4) family bathroom with shower and bath, and a further shower room and separate toilet. On the second floor there are two more double bedrooms (pictures 5,6) and family bathroom with shower cubicle, bath, toilet and basin. The utility room is also on the ground floor and has a washing machine. The central heating boiler is in the same room, thereby giving heating for the cooler months. There are games, books and bike available to borrow. There is a satellite TV connection in the lounge. Area: set in a small hamlet between Pluvigner and Camors and within easy access to Auray 15 minutes and a short 20 minutes to the sandy southern Brittany beaches. The medieval City of Vannes is 25 minute's drive and well worth a visit to view the city from the walls, visit the ancient cathedral and the 13th century buildings. Restaurants abound in the area, you won't want to cook, apart from your croissants breakfast and maybe baguette, fromage and wine for your lunch!! Prices per week
