This cottage is set in its own grounds of 10 acres which offer open views, peace and tranquillity, being quiet but not isolated. The cottage was built in 1930 but it has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Wi-Fi connection and English satellite TV. The northern perimeter is bounded by a small stream and the western perimeter by the River Blavet and the Nantes Brest canal. The banks of the canal are popular with walkers, cyclists and fishermen. Heated swimming pool ( 11m x 4.20m ) Open May to September. Shared with owners and the two other cottages. Laiterie sleeps 4 in one double and one twin room and has a fully fitted modern kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and iron. There is a bath with shower over. Tere are original wooden beams, marvellous inglenook fireplace with log burning stove, settee, armchairs, DVD player with TV and CD player. All outdoor facilities (pool etc, are shared with two other cottages).

Recreation Room with table tennis, pool table, badminton and fishing equipment for you to borrow. Pets permitted as long as they are friendly with the owners' two friendly dogs. Bed linen and electricity included.
LOCATION The hamlet where this complex is situated in the heart of the unspoilt countryside of Central Brittany, between the towns of Mûr de Bretagne and Pontivy. The hamlet itself is less than a mile from the main road and consists of two farms and a chapel. Pontivy It is only a five minute drive to the nearest shop and seven minutes to the town of Mûr de Bretagne which offers the usual range of shops and services. Only four miles away is the Lac de Guerlédan, a large, clean, freshwater lake with several safe sandy beaches, ideal for swimming, sailing, windsurfing and canoeing . It is possible to hire sailing boats and canoes at the Lake, also bicycles, as its wooded surroundings are excellent for both cycling and walking. Should you wish to venture further, the rugged northern coast is under a two hour drive away; the resorts of Perros Guirec, St. Brieuc, Dinard and St. Malo as well as le Mont St. Michel being popular tourist destinations. The southern coast is slightly nearer; Lorient and Carnac with their golden sandy beaches and the historic town of Vannes are equally popular. To the east the county town of Rennes is also within easy reach as is to the west, Quimper and Concarneau. It is less than two hours by car from both Roscoff or St. Malo.
